Refurbished GTD Audio 2x450 Watts Professional stereo Power Amplifier T-8500

I really like this amp... The frequency response is excellent... I have more highs and lows on my same speakers and it really sounds great. Glad I went with this amp. So far only being able to test this amp at home in my system, one click on the volume is all that I can take... Really is a strong amp, I look forward to taking this system out for a full power test once all my other equipment that I am upgrading arrives. One minor Glitch... The Rack Mount screws are not standard and I have to drill 2 new holes and elongate 2 to make it fit, but that is not going to be a big issue, but it was certainly not expected. One thing I would like changed is the input level controls on the front panel. They are notched so that you have to bring the volume up in clicks. I would much rather have a smooth operation to where I can fine tune more... However, this is not a major issue as well. As stated above, I really like this amp so far, even though I had the measurements, the amp seems deeper that I was expecting, but still fits just fine. Once I get this system out and in use, I will update with more updates on how it is working out. Right now, I highly recommend it... It sounds great and using all the same equipment this amp really made my old speakers sound better than they have ever sounded before!John Campbell (1 Jul 2017, 20:10)
